Getting married in beautiful Hertford and its surroundings

Hertford Church Wedding

I discovered the most beautiful church when I was asked to photograph the wedding of Jade and Shaun in Hertford in October this year. Hertford is a fantastic place to say’I Do’! The churches are truly stunning and as a wedding photographer, I was certainly in my element. The catholic church of the Immaculate Conception and Saint Joseph in Hertford was the setting for the wedding ceremony and with surrounding areas like Tewin, Buntingford, Ware and Hatfield to have your reception, Hertford weddings are always a great idea.

Hertford Brides

Jade wore a beautiful beaded gown with a gorgeous long length veil that covered the alter as she arrived following her beautiful daughters entrance as the cutest flower girls. Hertford weddings are always fun for me as I have lived here for quite a few years and I always see a few friendly faces amongst the wedding party. Photographing happy guests throughout the service was the order of the day as the happy couple said ‘I do’.

The rain finally stopped and it was outside to photograph the throwing of the confetti, as a local wedding photographer in Hertfordshire, this is always a great moment to capture, I love the action, the celebrations and the good feeling!!

Hertfordshire Pub Wedding

Hertfordshire Pub weddings are simply great to photograph. so informal and the guests are always so relaxed and ready for a knees up! As a wedding photographer, this is the first time I had ventured into ‘The Sword Inn Hand’ pub, it was so rustic and warm inside. I enjoyed photographing guests throughout the speeches and party, it got quite emotional but as ever with a good wedding, there was a lot of love in the room, and as a documentary wedding photographer, I could not have asked for more!
